We recently made some changes to the meal assignment eligibility rules. Instead of basing eligibility on meal type, we changed it to price. This allows us to now include Pre-Prepped and lower-cost Chef’s Table options to our Meal Kit Meal Plan members, adding more variety and dietary options to the assigned menus.
The meal price for Meal Kit Plan assignment eligibility is now equal to or less than $17.99.
Prepared & Ready (Single-Serving) Meal Plan meal assignment is not affected by this change.
In our analysis, this price is similar to the max cost for past eligible meal assignments, and so it should not impact your Sunbasket experience. If you are receiving Chef’s Table or Pre-Prepped, it may be due to these changes.
