Thanksgiving Feast FAQs

• Where does Sunbasket deliver?

  • Our Thanksgiving Dinner boxes can be shipped nearly anywhere in the continental USA*, including both residential and business addresses. Whether you’re spending your holiday at home, visiting relatives, or staying at a vacation rental, you can have this box delivered!
  • * We currently ship to most zip codes in the United States, excluding AK, HI, MT, ND, and parts of NM.
     

• When will my order arrive?

  • Orders for our Thanksgiving Boxes will arrive between Sunday, November 23rd, and Wednesday, November 26th. Your delivery date will depend on your zip code and will be confirmed via email the week before delivery. 
  • Orders will be accepted until Wednesday, November 19th, at 11:59 pm local time or until supplies last.
     

• Tell me about this Turkey!

  • It’s not Thanksgiving without the turkey, and ours arrives ready to roast and with a pedigree to impress. Our turkey is raised on family farms, meaning a vegetarian diet and access to grassy pastures. Our Turkeys always remain antibiotics, steroids and hormone-free. Seasoned to perfection with classic herbs and aromatics, this juicy turkey breast roast is primed to be your feast’s MVP.
     

• Tell me about the ingredients!

  • The Thanksgiving sides in both the Classic Thanksgiving box and the Chef’s Table Thanksgiving box will feature organic produce. The same as for all of our meal kits, we work with trusted farms to select the highest quality, hand-selected, seasonal produce available.
     

• Which Thanksgiving Feast Box is right for me?

  • Both the Classic Thanksgiving box and the Chef’s Table Thanksgiving box contain the same size Turkey Breast Roast (44oz), which could comfortably serve 4-6 people. The difference lies in the number of sides included in each box. 
  • The Classic Thanksgiving contains the traditional, Thanksgiving-essential, side dishes that most Americans would consider the must-haves. The Chef’s Table Thanksgiving includes everything in the Classic Thanksgiving, plus our top 2 most-requested side dishes from years past – Biscuits, and Dessert – for only $20 more.
     

• How long does it take to prepare each Thanksgiving Feast?

  • The Classic Thanksgiving = Up to 2.5 hours
  • The Chef’s Table Thanksgiving  = Up to 3 hours
     

• Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

  • We do not offer substitutions to our Thanksgiving dinners to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
     

• How will the Thanksgiving Feast be packaged?

  • Our Thanksgiving boxes will arrive to your doorstep in one large box. Each dish will be packed in individual reusable and recyclable plastic bags for optimal organization and your Turkey Roast will be packed safely surrounded by ice. You will receive a recipe card for each side dish and a helpful tips card for a successful Thanksgiving.  
  • *Please note that our use of reusable plastic bags for our Thanksgiving box will eliminate our need to send your dinner in 2 boxes. This is more eco-friendly and requires less waste.
     

• Can I receive this order with my regular Sunbasket delivery?

  • Our Thanksgiving boxes are available only as one-off orders. Orders through Sunbasket’s subscription service will still be available to order for the week of Thanksgiving.
     

• Can I use my Sunbasket giftcard/credits to purchase the Thanksgiving box?

  • No, the Thanksgiving box orders are separate from your Sunbasket account and any credits, coupons or gift cards are not redeemable with this purchase.
     

• Will my food stay fresh if I’m not home when my order arrives?

  • Yes, our carefully engineered packaging sustains freshness even after it arrives on your doorstep. Once you receive your box, unpack it entirely and place all your Thanksgiving kits in the fridge!
     

• Can I still order a Thanksgiving box if I don’t have an active Sunbasket Subscription?

  • Yes! You do not have to be a Sunbasket subscriber to order one of our Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes – just select your box, add your information, and that’s it! No strings attached. If you’re interested in becoming a Sunbasket member, you can sign up at Sunbasket.com
     

• How much does Sunbasket's Thanksgiving box cost?

  • Our Classic Thanksgiving box is priced at $179.99. However, if you order before Oct 26th, 11:59 pm, you can get our Classic Thanksgiving box for $169.99
  • Our Chef's Table Thanksgiving box is priced at 199.99. However, if you order before Oct 26th, 11:59pm, you can get our Chef's Table Thanksgiving box for $189.99 
     
• Can I order additional sides with my Thanksgiving meal?
  • Yes, as a Sunbasket subscriber, we're currently offering our Thanksgiving sides for the weeks of November 10th through November 24th. Along with some extras: our Classic Mac & Cheese and our Beet & Orange Salad with Ricotta Salata & Toasted Almonds.
    Please note That Our $65 box minimum is required for this, which is in addition to the Thanksgiving purchase.
